The delivery boxes arrived outside Spratling Court in typical British fashion: streaked with drizzle, but dry and pristine inside. Unpacking that first wave of yellow displays marked months of anticipation for CD PROJEKT RED's new card game.
Between running our sold-out Beta tournament and sorting booster stock, the response from trading card players across Thanet, Ramsgate, and Margate has been fantastic. Here is the full breakdown of how our first tournament ran, what sealed product is sitting on our shelves right now, and how you can join our weekly Thursday brawls.
Inside the Beta Event: Friday 11 September
On Friday 11 September, we hosted our official Cyberpunk TCG Beta Event in Manston. Every table ticket had been claimed days in advance, bringing together players from Magic, Pokémon, and Yu-Gi-Oh! alongside local hobbyists stepping into a card tournament for the very first time.
Each participant received an official Beta Event Kit containing six booster packs and stamped Legend cards. To make the evening accessible for everyone cracking packs for the first time, we ran a relaxed sealed format.
Instead of imposing rigid constructed RAM caps right away, players built 30-card sealed decks around three chosen Legends. This kept the focus where it mattered: learning how to generate Eurodollars (Eddies), testing Unit combat, and rolling Gig dice to establish board presence.
Matches were paired as single-game rounds rather than lengthy best-of-three sets. This format kept the evening moving quickly, giving everyone the opportunity to play against four different opponents and see a broad mix of deck styles in action.
That easy-going tempo reflects what Ravenspire is all about: a welcoming, supportive space where you can sit down, learn a new system without tournament pressure, and feel right at home. Seeing players trade cards and compare faction mechanics between rounds made for a brilliant opening night.
What Is on the Shelves Right Now
Whether you are looking to jump straight into constructed play or test out alternate card art, our store shelves are stocked with products from the main Cyberpunk TCG range.
Pre-Built Starter Decks (£30.00)
If you want to sit down and play immediately without hunting for individual cards, there are two distinct pre-constructed 40-card options available:
The Heist Starter Deck
Puts you in charge of Night City's top mercenary crews. A fast, aggressive playstyle built around direct combat damage and high-tempo Gig claims. Includes polyhedral dice and ready-to-play tokens.
Embracing Power Starter Deck
Places corporate resources under your command. Emphasises tactical blockers, board disruption, and steady Eurodollar accumulation to outlast fast aggro decks.

Beta Pre-Release Kits Sold Out
Following high demand across Kent during event registration, the limited-edition Welcome to Night City Beta Pre-Release Kits (£30.00) are now officially sold out.
Players looking to expand their card pools can still acquire sealed Welcome to Night City booster packs, which contain 12 cards per pack: seven commons, three uncommons, and two rare-or-better slots.
How the Game Plays: Rules & Mechanics
If you are accustomed to Magic: The Gathering or Pokémon, Cyberpunk TCG introduces distinct mechanics that give it a unique tabletop identity:
Eurodollars (Eddies)
Unlike traditional land bases, currency is generated by selling cards from hand or spending your Legends. Careful economy management determines how many Units and cyberware attachments you can deploy each round.
Gig Dice & Street Cred
Six polyhedral dice represent Gigs across Night City. Successful runs earn you Gig dice, and your Street Cred is calculated as the sum of their faces. Securing and holding seven Gig dice at the start of your turn wins the game.
Constructed deck building requires three uniquely named Legends and 40 to 50 non-Legend cards, with a maximum of three copies of any single card. Rather than paying mana costs, each Legend provides a specific colour RAM ceiling, creating an engaging puzzle when selecting high-tier characters and equipment.
Cyber Thursdays: Night City Brawls (18:30 to 22:00)
Following the success of our Beta night, we have added dedicated table space for the community. Every Thursday evening from 18:30 to 22:00 is officially Cyber Thursday at Ravenspire Games.
Our Thursday sessions run across two clear phases to give both beginners and competitive players a structured route into organised play:
Open tables for testing starter decks, learning Unit combat, and fine-tuning RAM thresholds. Our team is available throughout the evening to teach mechanics and run demo matches.
Every registered player who completes their rounds receives an official Promo Participation Pack. Undefeated tournament winners take home an exclusive Champion Pack.
Track Standings via the Companion App
Tournament pairings, table assignments, and round timers are handled live through our dedicated Ravenspire Companion app. You can open it straight in your mobile browser or download the app via Google Play.
No waiting around for paper sheets on the wall; your next opponent and table number appear right on your screen as soon as round pairings are generated.
